Hopper (silo) for cement storage

Silo for cement is a metal vessel of cylindrical shape. It has cone, tapering bottom. Vessel height can differ; supports ar designed depending on customer’s requirements.

           

Silos are designed for receiving and storage of cement and other bulk fine materials at plants producing concrete and other types of mixtures. When loading vessel from cement truck, in order to prevent atmosphere contamination, filter is used.  

 

During cement storage material packing occurs and as a result automatic feed of cement is impossible. Material tendency to packing causes arch formation, and later cement can stop going through discharge opening. To prevent packing silos are equipped with aeration system and vibrator.

 

Cement silo is made of steel and coated with antirust compositions.
